Day 1: Kigali
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in hotel on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2: Kigali To Virunga Conversation Area
After breakfast, you will be transferred to your lodge in Volcanoes National Park. Included in your stay is one gorilla trekking permit; additional permits can be purchased. All meals included in your stay. Overnight in Virunga.
Day 3: Virunga Conversation Area
Day at leisure. Participate in activities offered; tracking gorillas and golden monkeys,hikes to the top of the volcanoes, scenic walks through the picturesque villages surrounding the lodge or day trips to the lively towns of Rwanda. Overnight in Virunga.

Spend your first night in Kigali. After breakfast, travel to Ruhengeri, the main base town for gorilla tracking. Proceed for your orientation then start the trek through fields of cultivated land to edge of the forest. Here you enter the park for a gorilla trek which will take you until around midday depending on where you find them. After the trek, if time permits, visit the markets, villages and local communities or add in an optional visit to the beautiful twin lakes Bulera and Ruhondo before arriving to your lodge for two nights. For your last night drive to Lake Kivu, a 2,650 sq. km. extraordinarily beautiful inland sea enclosed by steep, green terraced hills along eastern Rwanda. On your final day, take your morning transfer to Kigali for your international flight out of Rwanda.
